My stay was perfectly pleasant with two nights at Hotel Uhland. Truly enjoyed the standard double room with aircon, wouldn't mind staying there all day.

The staff - some of them were disgruntled.

Hotel Uhland offers a pleasant venue with superbly friendly and accommodating staff. It’s situated in a nice quiet area, making it an ideal location near Windhoek and close to the city center, as well as being a short distance from the Karst Gallery. the superior double room provides all the essential amenities for a comfortable stay.

I like the reception lady who was and is very nice, friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. The place is nice and quiet, very ideal for a holiday and the pool and self service bar are nice.

The kitchen staff never greets or smiles. Please let them be more friendly to all guests and wear a smile when they are serving like the reception lady I think her name is ute who has a motherly approach

The breakfast, the view from the balcony, the neat garden and the very friendly staff were all great. Oh yes, and the Wifi connection made things perfect.

The parking is a bit small, but space is limited. The gate needs a sensor so that it cannot close while moving through with your car.
